tensions are high in East Asia and Oceania. issues with North Korea are only getting more and more complicated. although there are U.N. sanctions on North Korea, Russia is heavily opposed to a trade embargo which will lead to further political opposition. after President Obama visited Vietnam, the people have been engulfed in “The American Dream” hoping to one day have the freedoms and opportunities that we fortunately have and take for granted. among everything going on in the world at the moment I would say that the greatest threat to our national security is the nuclear standoff with North Korea. they do not have a clear motive for why they’re flaunting their arms so boastfully and refuse to shed any light on the situation. President Trump is currently on a trip through China to meet with President Xi Jinping to figure out how to handle this dangerous game. I think that a simple solution would be complete sanctions on them and if needed, manual military force. if one person fires a single missile it would domino in to complete anarchy and we would no longer have control of the situation. it’s very delicate and a hard thing to solve.
