I am really shocked about this one, this is something that I thought would never happen in my lifetime, I didn’t think that this would be something that North Korea would want to agree to. Maybe this is all just some good political imaging, and nothing has really changed between these countries, but this gives a really big sign of hope. I know that this is only just an Olympic event and not some huge governmental meeting, but it still could be a step in the right direction. I hope than North and South Korea will get back together, or at least have more of a peaceful relation after this. Knowing North Korea as a communist nation ruled by the dictator Kim Jong-Un, I doubt they will get back together as long as North Korea is under his control. But maybe when after Kim Jong-Un falls from power, the North and South Koreans will want to be together again, maybe North Korea won’t want to continue the communist way when Kim Jong-Un dies. I’m not really sure if this Olympic meeting between the two countries is how they really feel for each other, but I will say that it has made a really big impression on the world, and it gives people hope that the issue with North Korea might be able to happen peacefully, and not with nukes or names flying everywhere.
