China leader

Seeing China crack down on corrupt rulers is interesting to see. Growing up I have always seen China as a communist run country with plenty of corruption. The first thing I thought about was who is leading this and its the president of China. With a strong figure leading this, it seems very likely that this crackdown will continue. The next thing I thought about was the odds that this was a way to get potential opponents taken out of running. As I read more into it, it seems like the second option was very likely. China has provided no proof that he used government funds to keep his luxury lifestyle going and alive. If he is accused of corruption with no facts behind it, China’s corruption continues to roar and seems that it will continue. If they can find real indisputable evidence that he did do it, it could be the beginning to a new age in China. While this may seem minor, this could help the U.S. have more trust in China or other allies of China and could possibly start swinging them to a more democratic nation. The situation does seem less and less likely that China is in the right though. With Meng’s wife in France because she has expressed fear for her life and the fact she said she hasn’t seen her husband in over a year. Prosecuting an Interpol is also an odd job to go after considering they are supposed to help share information between police forces and if you are attacking someone who is supposed to help bring safety and security to the world, it may not look the best. While President Xi may not have the evidence to pursue this case, I’m sure he has plenty of power to push it through the courts and get whatever verdict he pleases.
