Australian PM’s Office Accidentally Sends Confidential Document to Journalists- analysis

In Australia, the Prime Minister’s office sent confidential topics to news media all around the country. It was meant to be sent to their own Liberal-National Party to prepare them for the resumption of Parliament. In the document, it talked about Syrian refugees flying into Australia, taxation, asylum seekers, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and the agreement with Paris. One of the most revealing parts within the documents is how the explain to the MP’s that if they’re asked about their climate change goal and not being able to reach it, to just deflect the question and respond with a simpler statement. In political debates and conferences around the world, people watching analyze each participant down to their core, and most of the time can determine that at one point or another, each candidate completely ignores the question and deflects it away. The document helped to expose that assumption even more. The document also mentioned how they suggest the MP’s to talk about their fear for worker exploitation. Statistics show that in the past 5 years, the number for asylum seekers has reached an all time high; they say to explain how the have a zero tolerance for their workers exploitation. This confidential document being “leaked” can lead the way for the conservative party to override the liberals. However, it seems that the Prime Ministers office isn’t too worried. Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, has not yet spoken on the topic but Attorney-General, Christian Porter, stated that “these things happen from time to time” to ABC radio, trying to downplay the actual matter at hand. Morison is most likely preparing and consulting other groups within his party on how to handle this in the public eye when he does make his comment, if he does. For now, we will have to stick with Porters statement which he seemed completely calm and collected hopefully pouring that on to the audience. If they stay calm and seem like they have everything together, then the other party may have reasons to believe that the Liberalists have more to bring to the table in the next resumption of Parliament. Or, they’re just trying to put on a facade to cover up the chaos going on inside their offices.
