At the same time, South Korea has also been working on growth military development as well, and their ability to contribute new capabilities to the overall plan is considered an important part of the update. The evolving war plans for the Korean peninsula come against a backdrop of U.S control. The U.S. has nearly 30,000 troops in South Korea peninsula to permanently base a U.S. Army AH-64 Apache attack helicopter squadron and artillery division headquarters.
This relates to what we have been learning in class about all countries are looking out for their national interest. North Korea and China are looking to feel in control to help protect themselves and their citizen, therefore in the past couple year they have spend tremendous amount of money on military force. This had had worries for the United States who are considered by many as most powerful country in the world. This is why they want to work in with South Korea to help contain some kind of control in the east Asia region. Although there has been tension between US and China, and also between North and South Korea it would be very unlikely for these countries to actually attack as most of these new military capabilities are just bluffs to act that they are world powers.
