The events occurring along the Myanmar/ Bangladesh border have been absolutely horrific, with hundreds of thousands living in terrible conditions and violence everywhere. The Bangladeshi government is having trouble finding a solution to this horrific problem for men, women and children. A new camp has been under way in the Coxś Bazar region of Bangladesh right along the border. This camp is set to be ready by the end of October and will be the new home for nearly a million refugees. There is a lot of controversy about the violence against the Rohingya and I find it truly horrific that the Myanmar government has done practically nothing to stop the exodus. As Bangladesh is mainly populated of Buddhist people, the Rohingya muslims are persecuted against. These violent persecution actions have been taking place since late August. Hopefully this new camp will benefit 800,000 men, women and children but the UN has recently called this whole situation a ¨human rights nightmare.¨
