For all the slander that Donald Trump faces on a day to day basis, one thing (though the left denies it frequently) that the Commander in Chief is doing right, is his policy on North Korea. While on the surface Trump has remained strong willed, belligerent, and seemingly provoking, his methods have proved to work thus far. Trump will be meeting with the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un shortly, and even without a face to face meeting, much is already being accomplished. Though his tough nature has scared the timid minds of many on the left, Trump has actually come closer than any President in history in successfully dealing with North Korea. South Korea and North Korea participated together in the Olympic games. Negotiations for denuclearization on both sides of the Korean peninsula have commenced. Now, and most interesting of all, is the fact that N. Korea will no longer require US troops leaving the DMZ as part of a possible deal. All this news is very exciting and shows that underneath the Donald’s gruff and unwavering personality lies a negotiator and a doer. Trump gets deals made, after all, he is a businessman. I look forward to seeing how this situation plays out and am hopeful for the future of that part of the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
