MUSLIM activist Yassmin Abdel-Magied has called on her followers to join a social media campaign to tweet a new statement on Anzac Day, which is sure to raise eyebrows.<\/p>\n

Ms Abdel-Magied has endorsed a former GetUp! director\u2019s call on Twitter for thousands of people to tweet \u201cLest we forget (Manus)\u201d on Anzac Day next Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Incoming Change.org national director Sally Rugg tweeted last night: \u201cWhat if thousands of us all tweeted \u2018lest we forget (Manus)\u2019 next week on April 25th \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement has been retweeted hundreds of times in less than 24 hours.<\/p>\n
