The main thing about the region of eastern Asia was the whole issue with North Korea and whether they will actually disarm their nukes or not. This has been a major story world wide as this could be huge news as the world could stop worrying about North Korea and its nuclear program. Many believe that the ongoing pressure and unpredictability of United States President Donald Trump has had a major impact on Kim Jong Un and his recent cooperation in the disarmament of the nuclear program. This could hypothetically lead to the unification of the two Korea’s. Many say this would never happen for numerous reasons, one being that Kim Jong Un\u00a0 would not be willing to give up his control to be lead by the South Korean government.
