the foreign ministry said, without giving details of the agreements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">Khartoum said the decision is part of its commitment to the international Non-Proliferation Treaty and sanctions against Pyongyang.<\/p>\n<p>It had also set up a committee to implement United Nations Security Council sanctions against Pyongyang, the ministry said.<\/p>\n<p>The United States has been stepping up pressure on Sudan to cut all ties with North Korea.<\/p>\n<div class=\"teads-inread\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"teads-ui-components-adchoices\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"teads-ui-components-label\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"teads0\" class=\"teads-player\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"teads-ui-components-credits\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The US\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2017\/01\/lifts-20-year-economic-embargo-sudan-170113210941137.html\">lifted 20 years of sanctions on Sudan<\/a>\u00a0in October but kept it on a list of &#8220;state sponsors of terrorism&#8221; along with North Korea, Iran and Syria.<\/p>\n<p>The move looked set to help Sudan&#8217;s ailing economy, but it has been hit hard by surging inflation and no significant increase in foreign investment.<\/p>\n<p>Sudanese officials say that having Khartoum on Washington&#8217;s &#8220;terrorism&#8221;
