In China they had basically a summit for entrepreneurs to meet together and share ideas, which I interpret as an opportunity to join together for business opportunities and to receive funds for their start up companies. I found this unique because I have never heard of this, and I think it could be extremely beneficial to entrepreneurs and the businesses and companies. Another article that caught my attention was the article about China and Cuba’s agreement on trade relations and economic support. I think this could lead to issues with China and the United States. This could happen because the United States already has trade issues with China and increased tariffs. The signed trade agreement between China and the United States plants China at the United States back door, and this could feel as a threat to the United States and could be a huge issue if a third world war was ever to occur.

Other articles I read include one about China’s Belt and Road expansion. Overall it seems that China is expanding their trade relations, this could possibly be because of poor relations with the United States, giving China a backup trade route. The Belt and Road expansion is almost in place of the historic Silk Roads. I researched further into the topic because the article did not provide much information and found images showing all the new routes that replace the long silk roads used by their ancestors.

The last article that I also found very interesting was the discovery of unauthorized after school and extracurricular activities placing too much stress on students. I found this to be interesting because it is not something, at least that I don’t think about. It makes me wonder if the United States have regulations and check the authority in after school learning and care programs. I think of them as a place to send kids that need tutoring, or that can not be home alone before their parents get home from work, instead they are causing extreme stress for the children in China, when they should be focused on their actual school work.

A couple of the articles I read this week, one caught my interest, and also sounded like a good, innovative idea.
