They want to give 70 percent of their population the vaccine by this time. they have purchased enough vaccines from Pfizer and other pharmacies to give the vaccine to 56 million people. They plan on giving it to the elderly first from ages 65 and up. People will not have a choice of which vaccine they will be receiving. Vaccines will be free of charge and there will be around 10,000 venues to receive the vaccine. If there are any health problems that relate to the vaccine the South Korean Government will pay compensation to those individuals.

I think this can be very beneficial for the rest of the world. If one country can prove that herd immunity is possible. Then other countries will fall and it will become something that is no longer a dream. However if something does go wrong with the vaccine then South Korea will take a huge loss purely by accident and trying to stop the Coronavirus. South Korea will be the first country to achieve this monumental goal. People could go back to their normal lives and try to move forward and live a more happy life one that is not so dangerous with a scary monster lurking around the dark corner. South Korea can be the light that shows that there is no need to be afraid anymore, there is a way to beat this.

This relates to class by a liberalist theory perspective. since South Korea Bought vaccines from other countries that have already developed them they are getting a healthcare and giving money to the country they bought from. better unifying the counties and the global net that is our global economy.

https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20210129_01/ South Korea states that it is trying to achieve herd mentality by at least november of 2021.
