China and Mongolia have had solid relationships in the past and it does not look like it is slowing down between Mongolia and China. Li stated that the good relationship between Mongolia and China positively effects the Asia-Pacific area by showing unity within that region. Both leaders have agreed to continue their relationship and look to add much more trading between the countries by being able to access key ports in both countries. Also China will continue to help Mongolia with vaccines and aid regarding COVID-19.

China has expressed their relationship with Mongolia in several positive ways. Mongolia hasn’t had many dealings with the U.S. and look to continue to work with China. Mongolia has an extremely interesting location as it is between right in between China and Russia. As the U.S. continues to have shaky relationships with China and Russia, Mongolia could certainly fall in that category as well. Although, Mongolia isn’t a huge worry for the U.S. it is interesting to see that the area of China, Mongolia, and Russia are becoming close. I agree with Li that the relationship between China and Mongolia is positive for that area, but it is not good to see that region become even closer.

As that territory continues to strengthen, global actors within that area will start to pop up more to benefit the countries in the Asia-Pacific area. Health aid associations will be effective due to a current pandemic. Other branches of global actors in that area could start like IGOs and NGOs. However do not look for an Asia-Pacific IGO led by China to work with an IGO in the U.S. or Europe. I could see the Asia-Pacific area continue to tighten in the future which could disrupt a serious amount of current relationships held be countries right now.

Article link: http://www.news.cn/english/2021-10/13/c_1310240783.htm On Tuesday 10/12 the Prime Minister of Mongolia Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang had a meeting regarding their respective countries relations.
