Once again the Brexit deadline is looming over the British’s heads and approaching quickly. We will see if Theresa May can pull through and we will see if Britain can survive this turn of events with whatever happens: either Britain leaving the European Union or Britain staying in the European Union. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In France there was a stabbing in a jail and now people are gathering to protest for better protection for those living in jails. I find this interesting because I thought that most people had the view that if they are in prison that is their problem, but also that they are still people and should still have the right to protection, even when they are living in a prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A French Bishop has been found guilty for covering up a sex abuse case within the Catholic Church. I find it sad that in today’s world we are not shocked by this fact because it seems almost every month more stories come out about abuse cases within the Catholic Church. I find these stories incredibly sad, but yes, I am desensitized to the stories. I am proud of the men and women that come forward and confess their stories, and by doing so make others comfortable enough to feel that they can come forward too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final article that I posted was an article about a French scientist that I believe had their license removed, or at least was fired because he made a sexist comment that women were incapable of being scientists. I agree that he should be punished or at least learn some common sense that sex, race, and ethnicity have nothing to do with intellectual capabilities. I am flabbergasted that people actually think that they are right when stating something like, women are incapable of science, when it is literally proven all around them that they are wrong!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
