In the past two weeks, the news has greatly shifted from talking about Aleppo to Mosul.The reason is because this is one of ISIS’s strongholds in the middle east. Since 2014 ISIS had had control over it and there are still many civilians in it. ISIS has taken over government duties such as doing trash day and other duties. But, they are treating anybody who goes against them horribly. They will use them as human shields when any other nation tries to take ahold of Mosul.
In Egypt there are shortages of sugar and other products. Many people are hoarding whatever they have and so far the govt has taken 9,000 tons of sugar from the citizens for its own use. Also, there is a suspension of oil aid from Saudi Arabia.
In my opinion, this week has not been as bad as any in the past weeks because there has been no mass killings carried out by any terrorist organization that we have seen.
