I find amazing that in the middle of all the war and hate that is accuring there is always time fora friendly soccer match. To be able able to put weapons aside and come together shows that there really is hope for a peaceful solution in the middle east. I’m aware of the fact that a soccer match is not very earth shattering; but what is so important about this game is that it was shared with two war torn enemies. Do i believe this went very far to show either side that their conflict should cease. No I do not. I do believe however this match did show they are able to get along with one another and peace is once again achievable.
Once again there was another airstrike that ended in catastrophe I believe accidents do happen. But an accident that occurs after being filtered by so many people is not an accident anymore; it is stupidity. This it is not the first time mistaken identity that has resulted with a powerful weapon killing innocents. It is only internation news however because of the fact that is was Syrian government fighters instead of the compleatly innocent civilians. If something as deadly that can kill so many there should be a stricter policy of when it may be used. The power to summon missiles out of the sky should not be used so lightly. I am aware of the fact those that are not supposed to die do die. This is just one of the horrors of war. Eventually however with the advancement of technology that this will be a part of warfare that will be left in the past.
