Out of all the articles I posted I wanted to start with possibly the most bizarre article that really got my attention. The fact that an Egyptian Billionaire is willing to buy an island for refugees is really something I would have not expected at all. He is worried about the living conditions of the refugees and the fact that so many have died trying to get to a better life in Europe. He tweeted the crazy idea and people really thought that it would be impossible but Naguib Sawaris still thinks that it would work considering the many deserted islands that he could purchase.
On September 10th there was a cease fire deal in Syria for 7 days so civilians could het humanitarian aid and trying to create a dearmed zone around Allepo. During this time Russia also needs to convince Syria to stop airstrikes that are killing tens of thousands of citizens. I personally think that will not work considering ho much Syria actually cares about its citizens. Hopefully the ceasefire will help out the civilians that really need it.
Apparently there was a US air strike that killed a syrian rebel leader. Many news agencies are reporting that he haas ben killed but I am still skeptical that he might still be alive considering that after an explosion it is pretty hard to identify someone.
Iran’s Khamenei is criticizing Saudi Arabia over their management of holy sites and not letting pilgrims go see them. Last years Haij killed more than 2,300 Pilgrims and 464 Iranians. Iranians have been barred from participating in the Haij due to security reasons this year.
