Iran has been working on two satellites that have gone under a series of tests in order to launch. They have passed two out of the three tests. The last test that the satellites did not pass is the speed test. Iranian scientists are working on different solutions to make these satellites safe to send into orbit without failure. In the past few years, Iran has sent satellites into orbit successfully. The United States response to the Iran satellite launch has not been very supportive at all. This launch is considered an, “intercontinental missile”. Meaning this satellite launch in Iran is a threat of security to intergovernmental institutions such as the United Nations. The United Nations is an organization located in the United States to provide peace and keep countries around the world safe. The UN is worried that with this technology used to make these satellites, Iran and other countries in the middle east will be able to create long-range missiles. With United States troops in the middle east still fighting a battle that we have been fighting for decades now, countries such as Iran or Afghanistan might want to use this technology to attack the United States or other countries in the mid atlantic area. The United Nations should demolish the invention of these missiles because this technology and power could get into the hands of a leader who will nuke other countries for power. Denuclearization is very important and it is spreading to more and more countries each day, but this satellite launch in Iran is a threat to the spread of denuclearization. I think the United Nations should intervene in Iran to prevent these missiles from entering the orbit or spreading the information of this technology to countries, especially North Korea who is the prime country that is fighting the spread of denuclearization. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
