This move is going to cause a so-called \u2018turning point\u2019 in Washington&#8217;s relationship with the kingdom. Ro Khanna is the main supporter of the weapons freeze with Saudi Arabia, he believes that congress should halt the transfer of patriot missiles to the kingdom as well as other defense initiatives. The cause for this break in the relationship and possible weapons freeze is from the recent announcement from Opec+ saying that they will be cutting their oil production by 2 billion barrels a day after the strong objections of joe biden.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What will the OPec+ oil cut mean for our future gas prices? Many forecasters are anticipating a global economic slowdown. The dramatic oil cut will cause a spike in U.S gas prices that will last for months. President Joe Biden can reduce some of the immediate price hike but lacks an effective option to mitigate the overall cost increase for U.S. drivers. Since the U.S consumes about 100 million barrels of oil each day, a reduction of 2 billion barrels is about 2% loss of the oil market. Overall the price for gas will increase as much as 40 cents, reaching as high as $4.26, analysts said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This story relates to power and realism. This move by OPEC+ has the ability to impact our economy in the long run. Because they are affecting our economy in a negative way the U.S government is&nbsp; retaliating by impacting their military and defense.
