The United States has conducted recent missile strikes on targets in Iraq and Syria, however, they have received heavy criticism about it from other global powers. Russia and China have both been very critical of the United States actions. The United States was accused of trying to raise the risk of regional escalation, and the two countries believed that this decision was due to the upcoming presidential election. Russia accused that the United States was trying to flex its muscles, and repair a poor image of Bidens presidency. The criticism states that the United States decision to launch the air strike makes them look bad and is a breach of international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision to launch the air strikes was a risky decision and the United States was met with a lot of criticism. A lot of this criticism is justified as the United States has killed many people and been very impulsive in this matter. Even though the United States has denied the accusation of trying to incite violence in the region, that is how the actions look and it is not a good look for the United States. The region is already very tense and the risk of conflict is very high, that is why these countries are very concerned about the United States actions. They are trying to ensure that nothing happens in the region and that any conflict can be prevented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This relates to class because it is dealing with how global superpowers interact and interfere with other regional conflicts. The United States, China, and Russia have all played a big role in this conflict because they all have different motives when it comes to the conflict in Iraq. That is why they are all concerned about how the conflict plays out and how other countries interfere in the conflict. Depending on how countries act, it can have a huge impact on the conflict in the middle east.
