And Syria believes that these conflicts are a sign for United States President Biden to remove his military forces from the country. Syria has felt that the United States presence is a violation of United Nations conventions. However, the United States believes that having forces in the region is very important to fighting against ISIS. Along with the ongoing dispute between Israel and Palestine, there is increasing tension in the region. And Syria believes that the United State’s presence is not making matters any better. Due to the increased violent nature of these attacks, Syria believes this is the perfect time for the United States to remove their troops.

The United States has been battling ISIS for a while, and they have had many people stationed in Syria for over 10 years now. Their goal is to ensure a defeat of ISIS, and that the group does not spring back up after the United States’s departure. The United States does have a fair reason for wanting to stay in Syria, as ISIS is very dangerous and could be a problem for many. However, since there is so much going on in the region, Syria is concerned that the United States is only making the problem worse. The United States is a hot target for militias that want the US out of the country, and it is becoming a threat to the well-being of Syria.

This relates to class because it is dealing with the different levels of security and how countries try to ensure safety. The United States is focused on eliminating ISIS because they are a threat to the region and to many people. However, Syria is more focused on their internal safety and making sure nothing violent happens on their own land. Syria recognises the high tension in the area due to the war going on in the region, and a conflict with the United States could only make tensions higher. Syria is trying to do what is best for their security and they want the United States to remove any troops in the area.

https://www.newsweek.com/syria-attack-us-troops-biden-must-withdraw-1872232 There have been many recent conflicts between militias and United States military forces in the Middle East.
