This article depicts all of the most recent talks between Israel and Hamas. Some of the newer talks began on April 7, 2024 and while the talks occurred in Egypt and there was small amounts of progress made there was no real significant work made in the direction of a cease fire. Despite both sides trying to find a solution neither side could agree. However, both are easier to find a solution to the problem. However as of last week Hamas has told Al Jazeera that they were willing to realize the Israeli prisoners. Due to this Egypt has sent their delegation to Israel to help further the peace talks. And despite neither group receiving all of the captives they want there are talks of each side realizing smaller amounts of captives on both sides. To try to ensure that the talks continue to go well Egypt, Quarter, and the United States have been present for many of the conversations to try to help facilitate the peace talks. As of right now all of the countries involved in the push for peace are on the fence if these peace talks will lead to anything significant. Another aspect that this article adress\u2019 is the impact the ongoing war is having on the governing faction. This looks like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu receiving threats about how they will dismantle the government. As well as what the government should prioritize which aspects in the war. All of these peace talks have the ability to be extremely significant for the rest of the Global Community. Firstly if the two are able to come to agreements the Middle East will become more stabilized. Beyond that it would allow the United States to continue to leave the Middle East now that slightly more stability has been achieved and focus on areas that the United States deem more important. And there is a strong possibility that neither side walks out \u201cwinning\u201d. And if that is the case this entire issue will be seen more as a crime against humanity then a war of any real outcome. However, I do think that it should be noted that after the war is over and if the peace talks work both sides will be weaker. Not only in general manpower but, in allies as well, if other countries are similar to the United States in the weariness of sending aid I think there is a good chance that a few countries try to break ties or at least step back in their involvement with the Palestines and the Israalies. This unfortunately is an example of many crimes against humanity. Both sides are guilty of doing atrocious things to the other side and this looks like actively targeting civilians and bombing, torturing, and killing them. I think what makes these crimes so much worse is despite the world having a somewhat way to deal with these crimes (ICJ), the chances that either side will face any global repercussions beyond pressure is low. And while I think that it is important to take a good hard look at the current system we have and change it for the better, I can\u2019t really see a time where that is feasible. Because even if the world was able to have a stronger justice system, how long would it last before a country decides they want to be their own ruler and the legitimacy fails.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
