This statement was a response to Israeli Prime Minister Natanyahu saying he was on the verge of releasing a strong military operation on Lebanon. The Israel-Lebanon border has housed tons of fire since the war started in Gaza, killing dozens in Israel and hundreds in Lebanon. Their conflict is due to Lebanon standing in solidarity with the Palestinians against Israel. Natenyahu told the press he instructed his military to \u201cprepare for any situation\u201d and that they were shifting their focus to the north. Though, the Prime Minister\u2019s political rival claims Netanyahu is neglecting the people in the north.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article is describing a potential escalation to the already dangerous situation. Israel has been using major force whenever they have been attacked, so Lebanon is saying that they are going to act the same way. It makes me nervous for the people in these countries because all their leaders seem to be trying to do is fight fire with fire. An attack from Hezbollah on Israel would mean even more Israeli deaths than the ones from the war in Gaza and cause the conflict in Israel to grow. I also believe that Netanyahu only said he was going to release a military operation on Lebanon because of what his political rival said about him. Yes, he\u2019s concerned about the safety of his region and doesn\u2019t want his people to be harmed, but the common sense conclusion that most people would draw if they felt that way would be to negotiate peace deals which he is not doing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hezbollah is a non-state actor. Israel and Lebanon are state actors. The conflicts occuring are global issues because the U.S. is concerned with Israel\u2019s problems, along with most of the world. Palestinians are a nation, Israel and Lebanon are states. Lebanon is pretty much a nation state of Arabs. Israel is a multi-nation state, with Israelis and Palestinians. Arabs as a whole are a multi-state nation.
