This article discusses US diplomatic visit to Israel and other parts of the Middle East for the first time under the new Trump administration. The previous negotiations in Palestine has led to a series of hostage and prisoner exchanges back to the Israelis. Thought this truce is a very strained and fragile peace. the current diplomatic visit from secretary of state Marco Rubio has strengthened the relations and support of the current regime in Israel’s approach and war goals in which they plan to eradicate Hamas totally from the Gaza strip though peoples opinions on how this goal can be reached is different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grand strategy moves of Israel have become a lot less focused than previous administrations as they have lost a decent bit of international support though this may not play as large of a role as the US is their current main ally. They have taken a much more aggressive approach than in previous conflicts that has led them to strain their ties with surround Arab countries that have been on a more peaceful talking mode with the recent Abraham accords. The fact this peace is so fragile helps illustrate the personal level that conflicts can take as one leaders decisions like Netanyahu can have drastic ramifications to the whole war as if he doesn’t let up on aggressive rhetoric he is endangering Israeli lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This can be related to the Securities issues in class as Israel is in a very hard spot they gained security by taking out Hezbollah in the north and taking aggressive action in the Gaza strip though they did this while intrinsically taking the security and sovereignty of Lebanon and Palestine. This illustrates the security’s dilemma and how Israel has chosen to react compared to previous wars now they are beginning to take a much harder stance than previously taken by the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
