Although no casualties have been reported, many have noticed the comparison between this attack and the bus bombings in Israel that took place at the beginning of the Palestinian uprising in the 1990s. The IDF has stated that they are working with local police as well as Shin Bet, the Israeli internal intelligence agency. The IDF has also said it would ramp up its counter-terrorism operations in the West Bank following the closure of different areas in the territory. Palestinians in the West Bank were forced to flee refugee camps with limited options on where to go next as buildings have been destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This article is important because it shows how fragile the ceasefire between Gaza and Hamas is. With accusations of ceasefire violations and war crimes coming from both sides, this attack is not going to help start a positive relationship between them. This event also makes Israeli citizens fearful of more terrorist attacks like the bus bombings or the October 7 Hamas-led attack. This might make citizens and the government more hesitant to continue to negotiate with Palestine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israel should continue to investigate the attacks to prevent any more from taking place. It should also have more security and surveillance in the surrounding areas of Tel Aviv and its borders with the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Palestine should deny any involvement with the explosions as it could lead to Israel violating or terminating the ceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This article connects to what we are learning in class by discussing underlying assumptions.
