American soft power in the region has grown as public opinion of the truce ushered by Trump has succeeded. The people of Gaza and Israel, along with political figures across the Middle East all have to gain with the new truce. It is within the interest of all nations to cooperate and ensure peace within the Middle East, and America is projecting its soft power influence on positive relations between each of the countries. Throughout Unit 2, soft power has been explicitly foretold as the most effective way to persuade a population into supporting or opposing a certain country or set of policies\/regime of a country. This weaponized use of soft power in Israel ensures security of Israel and denounced foreign terrorist organizations such as Hamas. Additionally, soft power projection is spread throughout the world with America being seen as the middle man, the negotiator and the non-biased figure in negotiations between both Palestine and Israel.
