I feel as if though I did not understand how often these air strikes happen and how much they affect the people that live in the areas around the bomb sites. By focusing my current events on air strikes, I was able to learn more about how this effects those in the Middle East. In the article by The Guardian it discussed how on August 13th civilians were bombed, killing 10 students and crumbling buildings. In my opinion I think the government should do more research before doing air strikes. In this attack alone they killed children that were not doing any wrong doing. In the other article by The Guardian it discusses how the United States has killed a propaganda chief working for ISIS. The government does seem as if it knows what its doing because they are going for large targets that are working with ISIS but they need to make sure that they are not killing civilians along with them. I do understand that in war that those whose country the war is in there maybe some losses but on August 13th the strikes were on schools and homes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
When researching the current events I wanted to focus them mostly on air strikes.
