{"id":121,"date":"2016-09-29T20:45:31","date_gmt":"2016-09-29T20:45:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/baileyonlineclassroom.com\/southandcentralasiablog\/?p=121"},"modified":"2016-10-05T14:19:16","modified_gmt":"2016-10-05T14:19:16","slug":"bangladesh-backs-indias-surgical-strikes-across-loc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/baileyonlineclassroom.com\/southandcentralasiablog\/2016\/09\/29\/bangladesh-backs-indias-surgical-strikes-across-loc\/","title":{"rendered":"Bangladesh backs India\u2019s surgical strikes across LoC"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">LiveMint<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Dhaka:<\/b> India has \u201call legal and globally accepted right\u201d to respond to any attack on her sovereignty and territory, Bangladesh said on Thursday after Indian Army carried out surgical strikes against terror bases across the LoC but called for \u201crestraint\u201d from all sides.<!--more--><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIndia has got all legal, internationally accepted right to make a response to any attack on her sovereignty and her soil,\u201d Iqbal Chowdhury, advisor to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the Kashmir issue, he said it is a \u201cbilateral dispute\u201d and there has been a \u201cviolation from the other side\u201d. \u201cIt (Kashmir issue) has been a long, continued dispute and there has been a&#8230;
