This Thursday the U.S. did withdraw funding from Pakistan. Later the president made a remark that countered his first, saying that he wanted India to help fund Afghanistan to make it more stable. I realize that in the short term, pouring money into Pakistan will not help the U.S. and many people may be against it because they see no benefit to them, but in the long run if the U.S. actually helped Pakistan and the middle east manage their money and start to develop and stabilize the area it would drastically decrease terrorism. Since 9\/11 the U.S. has been bombing and waging war on the middle east and central Asia. Money was promised to these areas, but they’ve only seen about a quarter of what they expected; therefore it is almost impossible to get back on their feet. The government can’t supply schools to the children, instead extremist groups set up schools which teach nothing but their specific ways. This breeds terrorism, and it can be easily stopped if funding continued in full and with people to help manage it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
A threatening tweet was sent out by the U.S. president suggesting that Pakistan was not an asset to the U.S. due to not being loyalty and the harboring of extremist groups and that he would stop funding Pakistan.
