The drone strike I feel was awful because it killed 18 people, I think that drone strikes do more harm than good. I think they kill innocent people and yes it “gets the job done” for Isis members but who is to say another member won’t rise up to take the newly deceased persons job? The article says “Between January and August, American aircraft released more than 800 weapons and flew more than 3,500 close air support missions in Afghanistan, according to US military reports” My questions is, is how many of those missions were there with a lot of casualties of innocent people? Isis has a lot of members and cutting off the snakes head won’t do anything. I believe that Isis attacks will start to get worse and we won’t know what to do, because we don’t know what Isis is (if Isis is an ideology) I don’t believe that bombing where Isis members/leaders could be is smart, in the end we could have more innocent lives taken then Isis members. The article says that Isis has “enticed hundreds, perhaps thousands, of fighters in Afghanistan and Pakistan to join” so if there might be no way the U.S. could take all the members out if people keep joining Isis. Maybe, there is another way to getting peace with Isis other than bombing them.
