Even though I understand why the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is exchanging the old rupees to prevent corruption and fight the black market, I don’t find it a good idea that he started this plan. I say this because the effects of this plan on the poor and the people who own small businesses is terrible. It is getting to the point where the owners and traders are “threatening to go on strike” because the conditions and complications of this plan are hitting them and they don’t know what to do to prevent it. What I also question is why does the “move” have to be a secret? If everyone in India already knows that the old currency is being exchanged for new currency, what is so secretive about it now? I’m just wondering if there is something that the finance minister is hiding from the public over in India and maybe that is why there is still a secret element to the exchanging and switching of old currency for new currency. I do find it fascinating though how they can make the new rupees safer. How by creating a new design and dimension, that these new rupees can possible help the Indian population from further threats of striking and panicking.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
