A newly appointed pro Hindu government is set to make huge promises to the populace of India. Question is where are they going to get the funds to give cash handouts to farmers, 1.44 trillion into infrastructure and industry, and tax cuts for middle class Indians as well as doubling exports? The situation with this is it seems to be just bread and circuses to keep the people at bay. The economy is in a shambles, investments are low, and the unemployment rate is at a low. Where is this money going to come from? Out of thin air? The deficit is at a dangerous point, widening it would be catastrophic. The nations credit rating would plummet. So the key question now is, where will India get the money? Investments would be nice but unfortunately may not be possible to acquire. Something had to have caused investments in India to slow down or stop. Therefore it may be some time before anyone is willing to invest there. Tensions in Indian controlled Kashmir are at an all time high after a popular Al-Qaeda commander was killed by security forces. The officials rightfully closed down any attempts to collect together, fearing violence. They also closed internet services to supposedly close down any attempt to protest. I am not certain that is their true motive though… regardless the new government has troubles that must be addressed or they face extinction at the hands of other parties. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
India has a rather interesting problem ahead of itself.
