Furthermore, the US and its allies are going to competing against Russia in a group of 20 largest industrialized countries, the meeting is expected to be largely concerned with Ukraine and whats to be done. The US has even said that it would place sanctions on Chinese companies that support the Russian war effort, this has been accompanied by increasingly worse relations with China from transgressions between the two nations.

The war in Ukraine has been going on for a little over a year now with what appears to be little end in sight, both countries have exhausted a great deal of their money, people, and morale on this war and neither have been seen to back down. A large reason for this is because of the massive support from countries around the world for Ukraine and the less impressive but still large support for Russia by other countries. If the war is to end I hope it can be done through diplomatic means and not just through total warfare.

In class we have discussed the UN’s world goals and its relation with the world, the war in Ukraine and all of the consequences of it have obviously slowed these goals, access to food and energy for the world population have been threatened by those who previously had it as prices of grain and oil have soared. Many of the UN’s goals were set to be accomplished in 2030, that goal however unattainable it was before has become essentially impossible. If peace were to be kept in Europe its possible by 2030 a large part of these goals could have been achieved through cooperation from Nations, now Europe will struggle just to reconstruct itself once this war is over.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/ukraine-ap-antony-blinken-russia-china-b2291730.html The Biden administration’s secretary of State Blinken just finished talks in Uzbekistan and other former Soviet States in Central Asia urging them about the dangers of the Ukraine war.
