The judicial service commision has ruled that Justice Elizabeth Gwaunza has been appointed as chief justice.

this could affect the nation in a fairly large way. depending on how the president and the new chief justice relationship go it could add a lot of friction to the county. it seems like the old chief justice favored the president and let him slide with smaller thing or allow more things to happen. But now that their is a new person it could change the dynamic and possibly get the president in trouble or make his life a lot harder to. Or it could simply be business as usual and nothing will change but only time can tell how this is going to turn out.

If you look at this though a state level it could change how the country performs and runs. new laws could be passed or be refused to be passed. the president could be out voted if another presidential candidate steps up. the state could gain a new leadership and new danamic that other countries will have to adapt to.

https://allafrica.com/view/group/main/main/id/00077958.html Zimbabwe’s high court found that the president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, illegally extended the the country’s top judge. they found this out after the fact that the President extended the chief justice’s term to another 5 years right before he was due to retire. people saw this as a move by the president to consolidate his power. the judge has been… Read more »

[1

post-4778","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-article
["GET
