The Tanzanian’s were find K20,000 each to be able to level and go back to their home country. cases have been going up higher and higher recently of illegal border crossings. The people want to increase the border patrol alone the Songwe Border with more checkpoints and more illert potroles. They are doing this because they are trying to curve the covid 19 cases. They also had a source that stated how easy it was to cross the border if you only bribed some of the police on watch.

I think that the Malawi Government needs to crack dont on these border crossings now before it get out of hand and they won’t be able to contain it later on in the future. I think that they need to increase the checkpoints along the border, increase the amount of guards that are on station. I also feel like that they should increase the frequency of the potroles. If they do not handle this situation now it could lead to lasting effects on the region by having an increase amount of population that you don’t know what to do with. It will affect business, tourism and the overall economy if left unchecked and unattended to. Another thing the government of Malawi could do is increase the severity for getting caught for illegal border crossing. This will datere future immigrants from trying to come into the country.

This topic is related to class through the state level of analysis. The state is responsible for looking over border crossing and the safety and health of its people. Therefore the state has the responsibility to figure out this issue and fix it because it could lead to negative side effects in the state.

https://allafrica.com/stories/202105180771.html In Malawi the police have been dealing with people trying to illegally get into their country by border crossing. so far in the past couple of days 13 people have been caught from passing into the country through the same part of the border, the Songwe border in the lakeshore district of Karonga. 3 of them were bangladesh nationalists… Read more »

[1

post-4782","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-article
["GET
