Over the past two weeks, dozens of Central American migrants have traveled to the US-Mexico Border and are now being denied access. These families left their homes and lives in Central America, most come from Tijuana, in order to escape persecution and secure safety for their loved ones. The migrants continue to stand outside the border entry until all of the migrants in this caravan are admitted into the US. This event will become extremely important in the next few days as it challenges US President Trump’s campaign ideologies. The US President is very outspoken on his policy of more strict immigration vetting and the support of border security. What happens to this group of migrants and their standoff with the US Border Control will be very influential in American politics and the view of this Presidency.
