In this article, the first thing that struck me was that the gang was throwing decapitated bodies over the walls, then I read that some of the bodies were dismembered. After reflecting on this I thought about how the families would react, how they would respond to the question of, “How did blank die?” I couldn’t even fathom thinking about how to tell someone that your family member was killed in a riot and was either decapitated or dismembered. And the gang, I know they were trying to make a point to show how tough they are but why do they have to go to such drastic measures? It pains me that people could do this and not think another second about it before its done, or even just imagine hurting someone like that. All it does is hurt people and innocent families. Even the judge said that he’s never seen anything like it, and for a judge to say that especially where crime tends to happen a lot is saying something. I know that I’ve never heard of something this drastic happening in the United States. I’ve noticed that I’ve been hearing about all of these tragic things that have been happening that I never knew had happened before and I realized show sheltered I was growing up so I wouldn’t have to face everything that has and is going on in the world, so it is very eye opening for me.
