Vice President Kamala Harris who is leading in efforts to address the influx of migrants from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador across Mexico to the US border. On a state level, farmers in Guatemala and Honduras are receiving money from the United States to help keep the production of their farms going. On a regional level, countries are working together trading, citizens are traveling through them to get to the United states. On a global scale, citizens are seeking asylum in other countries to escape the hardships that are currently going on in their country and have hope of gaining a better life.
