After leaving the White House and ordering a Drone strike in Moscow, the Ukrainian President Vlodymier Zelenskyy is meeting with US and Russian officials in Saudi Arabia to discuss grounds for a cease fire. Even stating that he will agree so long as Russia agrees first. The Ukrainian President had sat down with Trump a few weeks prior to discus the war and a Minerals deal. The talks ended poorly with many thing that Zelenskyy would not work with Trump again. However, Zelenskyy seems to have had a change of heart and is more willing to sit a discuss. America is not playing nice though, when Zelenskyy thrived to discuss the Mineral deal again the US dogged to conversation citing that they were there to discuss the cease fire and nothing else.
Zelenskyy seems to have felt some effect from not receiving American aid, near forcing him to sit down for peace talks. It is possible that this is the tactic to get the war between Russia and Ukrainian to stop. By forcing their hands wheaten it be by withholding or providing aid, both Ukraine and Russia seem to agree that America is the key to their war. Sundial Arabia offering to be the neutral ground and take a bigger part in diplomacy can be seen as an attempt to shift away for their old regime and into an era of international diplomacy.
The Ball is in Russias court now as to how far these peace talks will go now that America has Gotten Ukrainian to sit down at the table. This is a good example of how the world is currently operating under a form of Hegemonic realisim. America is the one that Europe, the Middle East, and Asia have turned to stop the war in Ukraine and Russia. America is the only power that both counties will truly listen to and the only one with the money and military to back up what ever agreements are made. However neither the Ukraine or Russia like that America is involved. Yet the relationship to America is so important, neither have cut America out completely and try to stay on Americas good side in hopes of more favors.
