Trump’s big campaign speech and promise hasn’t turned out to be as easy most of his supporters thought it would be. Trump promised his base of voters to build a wall on the U.S and Mexican border to keep in his words “the rapists” and “drug dealers” out of the country. This I think was a huge win for Trump in his election speeches with his tough stance on immigration for his base. However, now that they have begun to look at prototypes for the wall it is not so simple. For example, the wall as he once proclaimed would be paid by the Mexicans is now being paid by us. This will cost us about 1.5 billion dollars. The wall also will not be as high and mighty, and will actually look more like a barbed wire fence running across the border with some cement mixed in. Finally, when looking at the prototypes, they were still recognizing the fact that these drug dealers have tunnels under ground, and a wall doesn’t keep people coming under ground out. Therefore, the wall that may have sounded like a attractive idea may cause us more problems and money in the end. /http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41407194
