Venezuela is neighboring Colombia, a country that has not always been perfect in the past as well. Colombia had many right wing, and leftist groups rise and had major conflicts. So, when these conflicts were happening many fled to Venezuela because of the boom in economy because of oil at the time, and because of peace. So, looking at the situation now it is ironic to see the roles reversed. It is said that more than 300,000 Venezuelans have fled to Colombia the now stable country of the pair. However, it amazing to see Colombia’s generosity to the Venezuelans allowing them to have permits to cross back and fourth over the border for things like medical care, and even jobs. Colombia seems to have no worries about the major influx of immigrants, and only worries that the dictator of Venezuela may deny the ability for people to cross back and fourth over the border.http:\/http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-latin-america-41305735<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
It is important to note the history before jumping into the conflict in Venezuela.
