What happened in Malaysia was more of the North Korean government that we’re used to. After hearing of the departed half brother Kim Jong Nam i was not surprised. Kim Jong Un is a very paranoid man and his half brother was the closest thing to a threat to his power. The evidence may not have come out on who was behind the murder of his half brother but to me this seams an awful lot like UN’s M-O when it comes killing. Like we saw with his uncle Kim Jong Un does not put killing his family members beneath him. His brother posed absolutely no threat to his empire; as well Nam’s life was full of partying and being a so-called playboy. When asked about taking over control of North Korea after the passing of his father he said he had no desire to. If Kim Jong Un truly is responsible for the death of his brother than his paranoia truly has achieved new heights. Another family assassination under his belt in my opinion would be yet another reason to end his un-fit dictatorship. I believe we should have stopped the nation of North Korea from ever becoming so powerful. I believe it to be a major error that the united states that we allowed and continue to allow such a country to exist. North Korea is a completely authoritarian dictatorship with nuclear material and imprisonment camps for his people. There are many reasons why they shouldn’t be allowed to exist but it is our fault the still do. The possible reason we have to contribute to their existence is that we were just war fatigued from ww2 and didn’t want to get into yet another major conflict. So we took a more isolationist approach hoping things will solve themselves after we pull out less troops. Unfortunately it did not work and we are now stuck with a spoiled kid with his finger hovering around a nuclear arsenal.
