There is a bit happening in south central Asia. In Afghanistan, they have chosen to not block the popular messaging apps Whats App or Telegram. This may not seem huge, but I feel that this is very important. With a country like Afghanistan that is more strict on its citizens than other countries, this is huge to let them continue to have free messaging to the rest of the world. The government is loosening up and not trying to completely control their citizens and let them have free access to the rest of the world which is very good and very progressive for the country of Afghanistan. Also in India, they are trying to combat the serious situation of human trafficking. They are doing it in a new way, they are taking as many specific details from the rescued women and girls to try to map back to the perpetrators of these serious crimes. This is great news for the country of India and hopefully for the girls to continue to end this terrible trend of human trafficking.
