Analysis on North Korea Test Sites

North Korea has begun to rebuild its key missle-testing sites after multiple summits with President Trump over the dismantling of the program and the sites all together. North Korea swore to keep their promise of dismantling the sites and the program and followed through with it until the rebuilding which is thought to have begun during February or March of this year.

In order to keep North Korea from continuing their efforts, the United States needs to decrease sanctions and lighten their grip on the country and let them rebuild their economy.

In addition, if North Korea fails to cooperate and refuses to stop the rebuilding, the United States needs to put stronger sanctions on the nation so that they can understand the consequences of attempting to rebuild their nuclear arsenal as it puts the United States and South Korea in danger of being attacked and a war beginning.

In Singapore, Kim Jong Un stated that the military and himself are working greatly towards a completely denuclearized Korean Peninsula, but now they are stating that they will no longer continue with the denuclearization as they balk previous statements in order for the United States to meet their demands and take steps with lowering the sanctions.

In my opinion, the sanctions set need to stay, if the United States loosen their grip, the nation will look weak and make it seem that North Korea has a say in the actions taken by the US. Also, it would be in the best interest of North Korea to halt their actions as China is their neighboring nation and will penalized them as they have in the past.
