The Middle East remains war torn with no end in sight. The situation with multiple different conflicts exacerbates the problems which already exist involving famine, disease, and poverty. Disease spreads through these war torn countries because of the poverty but aid cannot be sent because of the fighting. The only way to help a situation like this is to keep stable governments which most of these countries do not have. On the other hand it is nearly impossible for outside countries to provide enough aid on their own. Especially when some of the largest countries are supporting different sides of the conflict (Russia and U.S.A.). There is no foreseeable solution and much of the conflict in the middle east is nearly impossible to stop without large repercussions due to power vacuums or oppressive governments.  A huge problem is that meddling super powers are what caused many of the problems in the middle east after the world wars and cold war causing distrust and hatred for them but the only ones who can provide enough aid for the people in those countries is the outside superpowers. The situation is also pressured due to a huge rich poor gap in certain parts. Countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE are rich due to oil and tourism but that income doesn’t trickle down to the LDCs that surround these countries. Throughout history A huge rich poor gap is what causes wars and revolutions along with inequality which are all current problems in these countries. There is no foreseeable solution and all that can be done is to offer what aid we can.
