The War in Yemen is now reaching its fourth year of continued warfare. Over the past four years, over 22 million people have been displaced and are now seeking aid. These 22 million people make up three quarters of the population of Yemen. The United Nations Security General, Antonio Guterre said that over 8 million people do not know where there next meal is going to come from and that this situation has become the World’s worst humanitarian crisis. I believe that this situation can grow and become much worse b not just effecting the remaining population, but also effect the populations of the surrounding countries. If this situation grows any further, it could become a world crisis much greater than the Syrian Refugee crisis. I believe that actions must be taken to ensure the safety and security of this people in need and that steps be taken to end this ongoing conflict for the sake of humanitarian needs.
