On Wednesday 27 members of Iran’s elite military members were killed in a car bombing. There were also around 10 members that were wounded from the attack. Iran’s president Eshaq Jahangiri wants this to be used as a rally cry to fight against the countries terrorism. The attack took place in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan province. This provence is a major opium route and there are often conflicts between the Iranian soldiers and drug traffickers. The Jaish al-Adl or the Army of Justice has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack. Iran’s foreign minister Bahram Qassemi said that Iran will take revenge for these actions.
In my opinion it’s would be a bad idea to get revenge on the Army of Justice. If they fight back then they will continue to cause problems. A cat and mouse game would come out of it. The country of Iran should fight against the terrison by coming together as a sovereign nation. The technology of Iran could be improved to try to prevent these kinds of things from happening again. This is not the first suicide attack in the palestine. In 2009 40 people were killed in the same province. The group was Jundallah. They are a pro sunni group. In 2018 there was another attack by the same terrorist organization in the rich oil fields of iran that killed 20 and wounded 60. Terrorism will never end. As soon as you get rid of one bad person another will come into take the power. The only way to handle it is by increasing the defences to detect it early and hopefully be prepaid so these tragic attacks don’t happen again. This is why the United States has put so much emphasis on the wall and the muslim band.
