Israel’s Arab parties split in boost for Netanyahu

An alliance between 4 arab parties, AKA the joint list, has split up, with the United Arab List splitting off on its own.   Mansour Abbas, the leader of the party splitting off, is open to work with current prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu has been accused of racism and corruption before, so the public already has a negative view of him. However, some are viewing this as an open incitement of the split in an attempt to reduce turnout because having this party on his side may be the deciding factor in a close election. If the election is close, the United Arab List has a high likelihood of being the deciding factor in the vote.

I think that this is an important development when it comes to keeping track of politics on the international scale. This specifically is worth note because of the fact that this pary affiliation may very likely suede the results of the election in favor of Nentanyahu, someone who is not very popular within his own country.
