Central Asia is an untapped pool of wealth, and with the upcoming multi-billion BRI from China the area is sure to become an emerging force. The BRI will create highways to connect the countries involved and nurture several economic corridors. The Baku Tblisi Kars (KTK) Railway will connect Europe, Asia and Africa. It specifically hits Turkey (where it ends) because it directly connects it to the EU. The railway will significantly improve communication and infrastructure in Central Asia and Eurasia, but construction will be challenging due to Kurdish terrorism and other extremist groups in the area, and due to the U.S. induced “New Cold War” Moscow and Tehran are being isolated which are large hubs important to the BRI. If the KTK is completed it will strengthen Turkey’s influence over former Soviet occupied areas surging it into becoming a greater power.

As the BRI evolves, it could largely benefit from Israel joining due to their advanced technology and good graces with the U.S. Israel needs to strengthen its ties with other countries in proximity to gain peace in the area, they already have a good relationship with Kazakhstan which will only grow if they become more involved in their economy and culture through the BRI. Israel will also benefit from the security BRI may bring with a better infrastructure and economy, they also could receive recognition of sovereignty from other countries which could include China.
