There was a mix up of voting machines in Meghalaya which called for a repeal in the Northeastern state. Polling was countermanded due to the killing of National Congress Party candidate Jonathone N Sangma on February 18. 544 of 628 votes were accounted for which was 86%. A significant number to me. 86 percent of a state voting is a great turnout, especially after the previous NCP candidate was killed. Raises some suspicion in my eyes.
